Kat Sab Blab: February 2010

We spent Valentine's Day at the Eystad's house watching the Daytona 500. It was a relaxing, fun day (and the finish of the race was worth watching). Normally when the Nascar race is on, I take a nap...Wait, I did take a nap during the track surface repair job! Sorry Corey and Jen if I left a little drool on Corey's Spongebob blankie! :)

We went to the neighbors house for a little guitar hero, and Mason loved it. We had this one laying around, and played it once a year ago, and kinda forgot about it....Keeps him occupied, even if he does get booed off stage after 10 seconds. :)

The daycare kids usually sleep in separate areas, but I forgot to separate them on this day, and then I realized they were awfully quite...Which either means: trouble or this (sleeping)! They were wiped out!

Flew to Tampa
Drove to Barberville, FL
Drove to Orlando
Met the biggest jerk that I've ever met (should not be allowed to interact with customers)
Met the nicest person...He was the owner of BLP products and should really fire the guy I previously talked about.
Got a tour of BLP.... Actually quite interesting on how they build/assemble carburators.
Drove back to Barberville (racetrack)
Drove Back Tampa to watch Late Model racing
Spent $35 dollars to watch them follow eachother
Drove back to Barberville (racetrack)
Slept
Did Laundry for 4 men
Went to the gift shop
Sat on the beach
Listened to the waves
Went downtown Daytona Beach
Sat at the bar next to Clint Boyer
Went whippin' shitties in a rental car with Clint Bowyer
Sat and watched boys work on cars
Watched Shane buy a Ryan Bunton hoodie
Watched everyone make fun of Shane for buying a shirt when he has no clue who was on it (it was on clearance and he liked the colors!)
Watched Denis chase 2 bears that kept coming out the woods to eat people's leftover food (literally 20 feet away from people)
Watched Denis swim across the gator pond for $96 (length-wise, mind you)
Watched Brendon and Shane get attacked by fire ants
Sat at dinner to the table next to Robby Gordon
Had Robby Gordon take a group photo of us (and he purposely cut all of our heads out the pic)
Took a group pic with Robby Gordon flicking off Chris (I think cuz of his wierd mustache)
Drank a "fish bowl"
Went Gator hunting (or searching)
Saw 2 gators about 100 yards from the pond that Denis swam across earlier
Watched them chomp at rocks being tossed near them
Woke up at 4 am to watch the shuttle launch, only to have it be cancelled til the next day
Watched the Saints win the Superbowl
Went to the arcade/go-kart track
Woke up the next morning at 4 am to watch the space shuttle launch
Went to the airport to catch my flight home
Came home to icy roads and snow everywhere
Seen a van rolled over in the ditch
Watched a guy try to take a turn going too fast and ran into the stop sign in the ditch
Picked up Mason
Home Sweet Home
Showered a 'real' shower, only to realize the water heater wasn't working
Fixed the water heater
Unclogged the sewer (yes, by myself cuz Shane is still in warm Florida)
Wondered why our in-floor heat isn't working in our bedroom
"HOME BITTER-SWEET HOME"
